How your data is used

This extension connects the LinkedIn session in your current Chrome profile to an account in your KiteGTM workspace.

Signing in to KiteGTM

Sign in at app.kitegtm.com. The optional setup page at connect.kitegtm.com receives that app session and workspace through a hidden frame of https://app.kitegtm.com/extension/bridge. It accepts session messages only from that frame and app origin. The setup page has no password form and does not send your password to an authentication service. It keeps the received sign-in token and selected workspace in browser local storage. Vercel hosts the setup page and its narrow server adapter, which uses your own permissions and has no service or administrator key.

Workspace pairing

The extension pairs only on https://app.kitegtm.com and https://connect.kitegtm.com. It reads the app’s kite.session.token and kite.session.workspace, or the setup page’s inkris_gw_token and inkris_active_tenant. It stores one connection containing the sign-in token, workspace, pairing origin and its own fixed gateway in Chrome’s local extension storage. The page cannot choose the backend destination: the extension ignores inkris_gw_base and always uses https://api.kitegtm.com/gateway.

When you open or refresh the popup

Once paired, the popup loads the workspace’s LinkedIn account list from KiteGTM. It also reads the li_at and JSESSIONID cookies to check the LinkedIn sign-in in this Chrome profile and, when available, requests https://www.linkedin.com/voyager/api/me using that session. It reads the profile’s name and public identifier to select a matching account or offer to add that profile. This profile check does not upload your LinkedIn cookie values to KiteGTM. The extension does not inject scripts into LinkedIn pages or collect browsing history.

When you click Connect LinkedIn

The extension reads only these LinkedIn session cookies for upload: li_at, JSESSIONID, li_a, lidc and liap. If you chose to add the signed-in profile, it first calls linkedin.onboard_account with an account identifier derived from the workspace and LinkedIn public identifier, the profile name, and the browser’s time zone (for example, America/Edmonton). Your workspace permissions still apply. The browser time zone can indicate an approximate region; the extension does not request geolocation permission or precise GPS coordinates.

It then calls linkedin.capture_session, sending available allowed cookie values, the selected or newly created account identifier, and the browser user-agent to KiteGTM over HTTPS. These cookies are authentication information: they allow the service to use your connected LinkedIn session. Sales Navigator session information is included when available. Upload happens only after this button is pressed; there is no automatic session upload.

The extension does not save LinkedIn cookie values in extension storage or log them. It has no advertising, analytics or remote executable code. A saved-session receipt means KiteGTM accepted the save; it does not establish that LinkedIn has validated the connection.

Where information goes

The extension’s service requests go to the fixed KiteGTM backend at https://api.kitegtm.com/gateway; its profile lookup goes to LinkedIn. The setup page forwards authenticated identity, workspace, account-status and sign-out requests through its server adapter to the same KiteGTM backend. Backend processing, retention and deletion are described in the operator’s published privacy policy.

Removing access

Signing out and revisiting the paired page clears that origin’s local extension pairing when the page is visible. Signing out on the setup page also asks the KiteGTM app to sign out. Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage but does not delete a session already saved on the backend. Use the app’s connection controls or email support@kitegtm.com to manage a stored connection or request deletion.
